Well, we were not really celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day but we did take these photos on that exact day. Truthfully, we really did not have any idea of the significance of the day until we met a nice pirate in the parking lot at The Forks. After several snapshots of "M" and "K" with the pirate we asked about the outfit. He nicely informed us he was dressed up because it was International Talk Like a Pirate Day. "M" and "K" did not talk like pirates during our session at all. Instead, I think they were more like monkeys than pirates. "M", in particular, climbed or swung from pretty much anything she possibly could find that would work for that sort of thing. This was perfect because their Mom told me she really wanted the pictures to just be fun and all about her girls. So, I really just followed them around and snapped pictures of them doing their "thing" and having fun. It was a perfect, beautiful fall evening!
