Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!

This photo session was for an old friend of my mine from high school. It was so great to spend an evening at the park getting to know her family! Our session really was all about boys! Mom came prepared with a whole wagon full of bubbles, bugs, trains, balls and pretty much anything else that a boy would love! These are just a few of my favorites. Make sure you notice the ducks in the first picture. I love that they showed up for the photo too!

Hockey Night in Canada Theme

On a completely different note...I take pictures, my husband writes music. He recently composed a song which he has entered in CBC's contest for a new Hockey Night in Canada theme song. If you have a moment to listen to the song and perhaps even leave a comment it would be greatly appreciated! If nothing else, you have some music to listen to while you look at the photos. Thanks so much!

Summer Road Trip... Continued

I enjoyed Princess "S" and Skateboarder "J" last October and once again had a wonderful time with them this past weekend! I love seeing how the little babies change and grow over just a few months. Princess "S" is turning one so some candles and a cake seemed like just the right thing! The creamy icing definitely seemed to be quite the hit! Mr "J" demonstrated some great skateboarding moves and even taught me some proper skateboarding vocabulary! I'm guessing this Mom has been anxiously waiting for her sneak peak so here it is...

And one last photo to put a smile on your face!

Summer Road Trip

I took a road trip this weekend and spent some time photographing some amazing families. For this session we headed for the beach and spent time playing in the sand and on the boardwalk. I love the color of the water and the greenery behind it! Mr "L" and his brother "K" kept me hopping and every minute was worth it! I just love sitting down after a session to see what kind of "gems" I got. These are my "gems" from this session.

I just couldn't resist one last picture! Little "K" was all cleaned up and looking particularly cuddly just before his Mom and Dad snatched him up and settled him for the ride home!

Baby "P"

Baby "P" and his siblings were definitely a ray of sunshine on an otherwise dreary day! I was so glad that the rain stopped just long enough for us to take some pictures outside. It really seems like a shame to take photos inside during the summer! The 7-up crate was the perfect little spot for Baby "P" ... especially since his arrival brought the number of children up to 7! As I drove away I realized that throughout our entire session there was not a single cry or even a tear. Here are some of my top picks...

H & S's Engagement Session

We postponed H & S's photo session due to an incredibly rainy and windy day. It was so worth it because we ended up with a beautiful summer evening the next night. We enjoyed the sights, sounds and the odd smell as we explored some interesting parts of the city! Let's just say the couple determined where they would NOT be dining on the their next date! Here are some of my favorites from our evening together...

Summer....Sweet, Sweet Summer!

I have to admit that I was a little bit nervous about our holidays before we left. How would we keep our youngest little monkey contained to our camping site? How would the boys sleep, or would they, in our trailer? What would the weather be like? Well...everything was absolutely wonderful! I purchased a glow-in-the-dark rope before we left and used it as a boundary around our site. It generally worked quite well to keep everyone under our watchful eye! The weather was pretty much perfect and we had a great time. It was actually rather nice to set down the camera...for a few days. I enjoyed capturing some of our memories and our boys have already enjoyed looking at our pictures and remembering the great times we had!

This was my first attempt at photographing fireworks. I'll be the first to admit that I really should have used a tripod....you can't bring everything on a holiday though!

This picture just kind of happened as I was snapping some photos of my son climbing all over my sister-in-law's dog. The dog really was being my little guy's best friend and now he has his Christmas card photo all set to go too!
