Christmas at our House

I have not used my tripod in ages but decided to haul it out last night to take some photos of our home this Christmas.  Things have definitely changed around here.  Two little boys have caused me to ease up on my decorating ideas and have taken over how some parts of our house look this year.

I never thought that Charlie Brown and Snoopy would be part of our holiday decor.  I can't say I mind!

These singing snowmen were a gift from my neighbour the year "E" was a little newborn.  It still is a favorite.

"E" and "T" were very excited about decorating our tree this year.  This is one area I've definitely learned to "relax" in.  I used to think that if something didn't fit with my theme it had to go.  Now.....everything goes!  Tait organized our tree into sections this year.  He had a sparkly section, a beautiful section and this was his sports section.
"E" made this decoration as part of a craft morning at school.  He was incredibly proud to hang it on our tree and has made many more since.

Ladies....This Is For You!

I should clarify.  I don't mean that these photo are for all you ladies out there.  What I do mean is that these photos are posted especially for my high school lady friends I met for coffee this past Wednesday.  You told me I needed to post some more photos so.....these are for you.  You know who you are!  (The truth is, I've been busy at my computer finishing off christmas card orders, instead of posting photos).
This is the last set of photos in my camera.  "T" needed some snowy pictures for a card he was working on for his Grandparents.  As we were walking to our back yard he noticed a huge icicle hanging from our house.  He thought it was wonderful and it soon became a "prop".

I'm hoping to turn this photo into a card....if I get to it this year!  My plan is to develop the picture, glue it onto cardstock and then glue white pompoms onto their hands so it looks like they are throwing 3D snowballs.  I'll let you know how it turns out!

The "M" Family

I did a whirlwind photo session for my sister-in-law and her family.  I think from start to finish the session took us about 5 minutes!  Everyone cooperated very well, including the furriest members of the family.  Although "L" did decide to start kissing his lovely master at one point!  The fire and snowflakes added just the right festive touch to the photos.

The Best Gifts Come in Small Packages

Baby "B" was exactly one week old when we took her photos.  She seemed completely oblivious to the blowing snow outside and slept and posed perfectly!  She definitely is the perfect little Christmas present for her family.
