The "d" Family....and the mosquito family!!!!

I met the "d" family at the park this weekend and it seemed as though every mosquito in the city joined us as well. We tried to keep moving so they wouldn't be too much of a problem. I noticed later that several even made it into the photos....I solved that problem with some help from photoshop! Other than the mosquitoes we really could not have had a more perfect evening. Here are a few of my favorites...

Summer 2009....Minneapolis part 1

Unfortunately I've had to postpone a few of my sessions because of rain. It just seemed to come on the wrong days. So, instead of posting photos from my lastest session, I'll share a few from our holiday at the beginning of July. We travelled to Minneapolis and Wisconsin Dells. We spent a full week in Minneapolis with our friends and had the most amazing time. Our boys had a fabulous time with their female friends. The day we all spent at Valleyfair was certainly one of our highlights.

Please note that I will be on holidays from Monday to Friday of this week. All emails and phone messages will be returned the following week.

Waiting for the "Mild Thing".

"T" tried out the dart game. It became quite apparent that he really hasn't thrown darts before. We were all ducking out of the way by the time he was done.

Mmmmm....which one should I aim for?

Lining up...

Taking the shot...

Yes....he actually got one!

The face of victory!

"E" practised his garggling skills and I think pretty much perfected them!

Summer 2009.....The Boardwalk

We spent the last week of July at the lake with family. The following series of photos were all taken at one of the boys' favorite spots at Clear Lake....the boardwalk.

"E" looked so boyish with his black eye, baseball cap, critter dipping supplies and straggly hair!

"T" just enjoyed being himself!

We found lots of leeches!

Sampling blueberries with Grandpa.

My highlight was getting a photo of this beaver. I waited for this picture for quite a long time and am so glad it turned out.
