Waiting for their 'Lil Pumpkin

This maternity session was all about fall....leaves, pumpkins, trees, cozy sweaters and cable knit blankets.  It was definitely very fitting as fall is their favorite season.  They were married last fall and this fall they are awaiting the arrival of their little pumpkin!  We had a perfect fall evening for this session as well...no wind, warm weather and a quiet park.  Thanks for the pumpkin ice cream, it was AMAZING!

The "H" Family

I took a road trip out to the country on a beautiful fall day and met the "H" Family.  Farming is their life and I quickly learned all about gators, rhinos, skid steers and tracks....not tires!  "J", "S" and "B" had an amazing knowledge of all the farm machinery and you could just tell that farming was in their blood!  I loved how they showed off their cool "toys".  It was a fun filled evening with running races, gator rides, combining, and a few terminology tests.  The terminology tests were for me.  I learned a lot in one evening!  Thanks for a great time and showing me around. 

For the Sake of Sentiment

I did not take these pictures of my guys for any specific reason other than I've always wanted to use this location.  My Dad grew up on this farm in the country and even though the farmyard is deserted it still is a great place to go.  Our boys love exploring and hearing stories all about when Grandpa was a boy.  On this particular visit Grandpa told them all about the ice house they used to have.  All the old cars and buildings made this such a great backdrop.  I love the fact that there is a personal story behind each of the items in the photos.  I can't wait for my boys to sit down with their Grandpa and chat about the good old days while looking at these photos!
