We Escaped the Bear....Narrowly!!

This past Sunday was a rather dreary, gloomy day.  I was concerned that we would drive all the way out to Victoria Beach and it would begin to pour.  But....we were so fortunate....in many ways!!  The rain held off and we were able to head to all the spots "L & S" had picked out ahead of time.  AND.....as we were taking pictures along the shoreline we spotted fresh bear tracks but....we didn't see a bear!  Thank goodness!  I have to admit that I felt rather concerned and uneasy but thankfully "L" is a bear lover/hunter and assured us that a bear would not finish us off for lunch but would rather be scared of us!
I was particularly excited to take these engagement photos for "L & S" because I, as well as my family, are so excited that they are getting married.  My boys are pretty thrilled to add another basketball fanatic to our extended family!  I am simply thrilled for our dear niece "S" as I can see that "L" makes her incredibly happy and they are so fantastic together.  It was a treat to explore the Victoria Beach area with them and spend some time at a few of the spots that have become special to them over the past few years.  And....it was pretty special that we didn't get eaten by a bear!!
