E & K

E & K are tying the knot and so we met at the park for an engagement session.  I almost have no words to describe the evening.  Surreal.  That is the best word I can think of.  During our meeting prior to the session we were brainstorming ideas which would represent the lovely couple.  We talked about a few options but our final idea was, well, perfect.  Just the right thing for this lovely, classy couple.  Thankfully E has an amazing Mother who can make just about anything happen.  She also has some pretty fantastic bridesmaids who are willing to do anything for their dear friend.....even climb trees!  We began our evening together with a stroll through the park, taking photos here and there.  While we were taking pictures there was a crew of elves busy working away.....

The busy elves hauled furniture to the spot we selected.

They made sure we had lovely fresh pink roses.

AND.....they hung the most beautiful lanterns from this tree with the prettiest pink ribbon you can imagine.  It was quite a sight.  So beautiful that they really could have gotten married right then and there.

As the sun set, the evening light changed and eventually the lanterns lit up the night sky.  So pretty!

Oh my goodness!  That is really all I can say!  I wanted to spend the night....

Another perfect morning!

With all the rain we have had this spring I am surprised that I have not had to postpone a single session!  In fact, I have had several fabulous mornings with cloud cover, and just the right amount of light!  I met these two lovely ladies this weekend along with the rest of their family.  They were both a bundle of energy and fun from the moment we started to the moment we ended!  I enjoyed their spunk and love for life.  I still remember meeting J when she was a wee little newborn with a head full of dark, thick hair.  Now she is almost four and as sweet as can be.  I also remember O from years back and could not forget her beautiful red hair.  She was just as fun as ever!  Thanks for a great morning!
