Trash the Dress...Behind the Scenes!!

I couldn't help snapping a few behind the scenes photos as we did the trash the dress session this past weekend.  I hope the images show just how much fun we had.  The slippery riverbank, fighting off mosquitoes, plucking seaweed off our feet, traversing across wet rocks and trying to stay on top of the mud which wanted to gobble us up, all made for a very eventful and exciting session.

At one point, I had to bend over to snap a picture of my foot wrapped in slimy seaweed.  And yes, it felt as bad as it looks....ooey, gooey and slimy!  Anything for a great shot though!

I seriously love this picture of "M" and "K"!  It just makes me smile!

Trash the Dress!

"K" arranged to have a trash the dress session long before she even walked down the aisle in her wedding dress.  I was thrilled with the location and we had the perfect summer evening....except for the swarms of mosquitoes which wanted to feast on us!  "M & K" were once again, so relaxed and fabulous!  It's always fun to spend time with them!  The running water, rocks, dark blue sky, gooey mud and seaweed added just the right touch

Baby "N"

Baby "N" was just 7 days old when I met him for the very first time.  He was the sweetest little guy ever!  At just a week old he was actually quite alert and so we were able to get some great photos with his eyes open.  His parents are as proud as can be (rightfully so) and brought out the best collection of props I have ever seen.  I really like how the items they chose to use in the pictures represent them so perfectly and have significant meaning to their family.  It was a treat to spend the morning with you and capture you new little star!
