I met the "S" family this past Saturday. It was so refreshing to finally be outside and do a session with no snow!!! "C" recently celebrated his 2nd birthday and was definitely a "head turner"! He got the attention of a cyclist, ladies out shopping and even a chef stepped out of his restaurant to get a closer look at him! Thank you so much for a lovely morning!
"C" was a little under the weather. I love his expression on this photo. After we got going the expression changed and he certainly turned the frown upside down!Monday, April 29, 2013

In the Meantime...
Although my blog has been a little quieter over the past little while, my computer has still been working hard. This winter I've been busy designing wedding invitations, rsvp cards and programs. Below is a job I finished a while ago. The couple is happily married now so I can share their invitations without spoiling any surprises!
K & M did these beautiful trifold shaped invitations printed on pearlized paper. It's really hard to photograph them in such a way that the pearlized paper is evident but it really adds a special touch to the whole look of the invitation.
They also had white pearlized envelopes and added beautiful return address wrap stickers. These were specialy designed to coordinate with the invitations and add a special touch to the outside of the envelope.
It wraps around to the back side of the envelope. It was "K's" idea to include their wedding date in roman numerals. I had to brush up on my math knowledge as it had been a long time since I had written anything in roman numerals. I thought it was a great idea!
The back of the invitation.
"K" really wanted seperate RSVP cards. We did small 3x3 shaped cards. We did a photo on one side and the reply information on the other. Once again, these were all done on pearlized paper with the cutest 3x3 pearlized envelopes so it all coordinated.

K & M's Wedding
"K" was definitely a daring bride! We had the option of climbing up this steep metal ladder to get some rooftop photos. The fact that "K" was wearing a poofy dress which was probably wider than the opening she had to climb through didn't stop her! She definitely worked hard for the next few photos....but it was worth it!
This is probably one of my favorite images from the day. I love the perspective from up above. So romantic!
While we were up on the roof the wedding party took things into their own hands and organized a soccer game! I love the high heeled shoes they are using as the goal posts.
I can just picture this next photo as a large canvas hanging in their home!
And of course, we made a stop at Starbucks!
