I met this family on one of our hot humid evenings. They were a great crew, ready for anything....and so were the mosquitoes! Monkey bars, jumping, a bit of silliness and lots of smiles made our time together lots of fun! This session is a surprise gift for their grandparents 40th anniversary. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Sorry it was not Florida!
I think that the older 2 "P" kids were some of the first kids I photographed when I got into photography quite a number of years ago. I recently met them in the airport in July when we happened to be on the same flight to Florida. I was so happy to hear about your fabulous memories and what some of your favorite spots were. I know that a photo session is not nearly as great as Florida but we still had a pretty good time. "S" is turning 4 soon so we snapped a few extra pictures of her in her hot pink party dress. You sure are a beautiful birthday girl "S". As your Mom said, it feels like yesterday that we wrapped you up in a pretty pink blanket and took pictures of you sleeping peacefully on a bookshelf.
And Mom just couldn't resist joining her girls for a few last shots. You would never guess that she had not planned to be in any pictures. She looked great and coordinated perfectly!

The "W" Family
I spent a beautiful August morning with the "W" Family. Our family has been friends with this family for ages. "L" and I used to teach grade four together and then had kids at very the same time. I treasure the fact that even though we don't teach in neighboring classrooms anymore we still enjoy a friendship as families. "T & L" live just outside the city and have a fabulous yard. We spent the morning in and around their yard. Really, it's a paradise for both little and big kids....a treefort, tire swings, meadows, rope ladders and best of all a zipline!
Little "T" is a boy through and through. I had to laugh when he was about half done his soda and asked if I thought it would light on fire alright. Only a little guy would think of lighting his soda pop on fire! I do think he gets it from his dad!
