Today was "E's" first day of grade three. It was so great to see how excited he was for school to start....other than the fact that it took him several hours before he fell asleep last night! Inside though, I'm a little sad. This morning when I walked him to school, I was left in his dust as he saw his friends and headed to his new classroom. And then (this is the worst part) when it was time for me to leave he didn't want a kiss! This was a first and it struck me how grown up he is now. I would love to know how to slow the growing down but until I figure that out, I'll celebrate the great guy that he is.
