Hi Leanne. My name is Cheri and I know Trev and Rebekah. I have a passion for photography as well but am not at a stage of life seemingly time wise to get into it more in depth, or maybe I'm too chicken!! Anyway, you do wonderful work! I was just wondering if you took any courses for photography or did you learn everything by trial and error? I have recently got a great camera, the Nikon D80 with an 18-200 mm lens. I love it but I know I don't know anywheres close how to use it to its fullest potential. I would love to take a course or something to learn more but am not sure where to start. Hi Leanne - I'm also friends of T & R and came to check out their photos. I had fun looking back on your blog and checking out the rest of your pictures. I loved them! If I didn't live out in BC I'd definitely call you up to take some shots of my kids :)
Leanne, gorgeous pictures! these ones (i just love belly pictures!) and all of the other ones too! i was taking a walk through the blog park tonight... you know how it is-one blog leads to another to another to another... and i came across this one! i loved it right away- as i LOVE photography, am passionate about children, and love seeing someone using God's gifts and capturing the beauty of His creation...
so i was scrolling down, looking at each photo, just amazed and all- and then i realized who the photographer was! and i said "haha, i know her! she used to be my teacher (AKA Miss K.), and i think she's even my second cousin, and wow!"
anyway, it was nice to discover your art (b/c it's nothing less than that!) to see pictures of your sons, and to (after 10ish years) catch a glimpse of where life has taken you!
hey Leanne aka Miss K! not sure if you remember me, but you were definetly my grade 3&4 teacher in Mennville. I heard about your blog from Dayna, I was so excited to check it out, and to see pictures of your kids, Tait is soo cute, all your pictures are amazing! It kinda makes me think abit more whether i want to pursue photography, I graduated last year (2006) and so far I've been working at the daycare here in Riverton, but I'm super stumped as to what do do this fall, and I've thought about whether I'd be able to do the photographer thing, I also just bought a camera and I really do enjoy taking pictures, but yes this is getting long, my email address is canadiangurl_skb@hotmail.com, I would love to get in touch with you, i've got so many questions.
