Some days I feel old, other days I feel like I haven't aged a bit. I have to admit that working with A & D made me feel old. You see, I was actually D's grade 4 teacher a very long time ago. I still remember his year in grade 4 quite clearly. It was one of those groups of kids you just want to hang on to. Obviously "D" is all grown up now and he is getting married! I met him and his lovely fiance this past Saturday and spent a fabulous morning outside in the snow with them. The morning we spent together had it all; sunshine, snow, little wind, birch trees, blue skies and good times! I'm so excited for "D" and can't wait for his wedding....maybe I'll even get to meet a few other students from his Grade 4 days! I have a feeling I'll feel really old that day too! |
