Summer at it's best!

It was so great to work with this family again and even better to spend time with them at their favorite summer spot!  What is it about lake life that is so fabulous?!?  "B" and "L" once again were fun from beginning to end!  I love the fact that they are such true boys.....stick hunting, climbing rocks, finding crayfish and collecting interesting rocks and pebbles.  The things we seem to take so for granted are true treasures for them!  I know that this spot isn't one the family takes for granted though.....I could tell it is a magical place for them.  One where so many great family memories will be made!

My neighbor made this sailboat for me several years ago.  I finally had the perfect place to use it!!

And Then There Were Three....Almost!

K & M are soon going to be expanding their home by two feet!  It's hard to believe that K was a flower girl at our wedding and now she is about to welcome her own little peanut along with her husband, M.  I've done a number of sessions with K & M as they have marked special times or events in their lives.  It was so special to spend an evening with them, capturing this exciting phase of life as well.  As exciting as the "expecting" part is, I have to admit that I'm even more excited to do the "meeting" part.  I can't wait for their little addition to arrive!  I know that K is also looking forward to concluding the "expecting" phase of things and yet, she was very determined that we would get some maternity photos done before this phase ends.  Can't wait to move on to the next stage when you are a family of three!
