The "K" Family

I loved every minute of this session with the "K" family!  They decided to use their old stomping grounds as the setting for their session.....it was perfect!  Maybe I loved it so much because a number of the spots also brought back memories from when I was a kid.  Who didn't love the monkey bars, the shiny silver slide and of course.....the round yellow slide!?!?  The weather turned out to be perfect!   The only down side was the mosquitoes!  

Outside.....finally!

Spring was so slow in coming this year and I was beginning to feel anxious about it.  I was waiting for some nice lush greenery but the buds on the trees seemed to take so long to open up.  Finally.....I was able to get outside this past weekend and do one of my first outdoor shoots in a very long time.  I normally get out during the winter months but this year it just never happened....I wonder why?!?
It was such a treat to meet up with this family again and capture "X", who was turning 10 and "N", who was turning 3.  I should be careful in mentioning that though because apparently "N" does not want to be 3.  She is pretty happy with being 2!  The first picture in this post is the very first one I took.  "N" was fast asleep....all tuckered out from her birthday celebrations.  But really, there just isn't a better spot for a little girl to be sleeping but in her Daddy's arms.
