Holidays!!!!

Well I left for our holidays with great expectations of all the amazing pictures I would take of our kids. It just seemed like my great ideas were not meant to materialize. I guess that's what happens when your main subject is a busy one year old. I am also convinced that it is hardest to photograph your own children. Having said that we had a fun time shooting some photos on the beach. I guess not thinking, I dressed both of our guys in white linen pants. My youngest ran to the water's edge and was about to run right into the water. Thankfully my husband stopped him. He then began to play with the stones on the beach and in no time was plopped in the goopy sand having a wonderful time. My Mom (the queen of clean), watched in horror as his white pants became stained with wet sand and mud. At this point, I decided to just go with the moment and started snapping whatever I could get. Let's just say we made some memories and after much soaking and scrubbing his white pants are clean!
