I'm so glad that the "H" family picked the Forks as the location for their session. There was such a great mix of backdrops so their photos have lots of variety! I really loved how the family got into the spirit of things...."C" brought his football and had it in his hand every spare moment. "L" brought her violin and definitely knew how to work the camera. I also had a colorful bouquet of wildflowers in my camera bag at the end of the session.....thanks "L"! It was a great morning!Thursday, July 29, 2010

.....this time it was the heat!
Last time I did a photo session with the "D" family we had to battle mosquitoes.....this time we battled the heat! I think that this had to be the warmest, stickiest, most humid day yet this summer. This was a special session as "C" had her parents visiting from South Africa and wanted to capture her family altogether. Apparently South Africa does not get weather like this....it's hot but not this humid. Thanks for a great evening and putting up with less than comfortable conditions. Here are just a few....Sunday, July 25, 2010
The "W" Family
Yesterday was almost the perfect day for pictures. Almost. We could have done without the mosquitoes! Otherwise, the "W" family picked the most wonderful location, the family farm. This yard had the most wonderful backdrops for a wide variety of photos hidden around every turn and corner! It really is a shame the we didn't use the old one room school house for any of the photos. Here are just a few favorites...This photo was very spontaneous....perhaps a new billboard for John Deere!
