Beach Baby

Baby "S" is turning one! We spent a lovely weekend at the lake with her and her family and squeezed a quick photo session in for her one year pictures. The beach was the perfect place for the pictures and "S" was the perfect subject. She has always been such an incredibly happy baby and did not disappoint during her session either! Here are just a few....

They've waited long enough!

I did this photo session back at the very beginning of July but left on holidays the next day. This family has patiently been waiting for a sneak peek of their photos since then. I must thank them once again for their flexibility and great attitude the day of their session. It began to rain right when we were about to begin and so we had to come up with an alternate plan on the spot. We decided to head to their back yard and use their home as a shelter in between if needed. By the end of the session the sun was out and we were able to get all the pictures finished. Thanks again for a great morning despite the unprediable weather! Here are just a few favorites from the morning....

"Baby A" was definitely the star attraction. I loved the way her older cousins doted on her and looked after her. Very sweet!

Her daddy was a little concerned that she didn't smile very much. I think she smiled just enough.....especially to show of her new bottom teeth!

Happy Summer!

I'm taking a break for some R&R. I can't wait. The blog will be quiet for about 2 weeks.

Every post needs a few photos so......here are some recent shots of "T". He learned to ride his bike without training wheels this week. He was so excited.....especially because he thought you needed to be 5 to ride without training wheels and he is still 4!

The celebration after the big accomplishment!
